TECH CONNECTION

You will need a device with 5 elements:
1. an internet connection. Most devices connect easily through Wi-Fi, but your connection will be more stable if you can hard-wire it into the ethernet. That means using a cable to plug in, instead of going wireless.
2. a screen. The larger the screen (to a point, of course!), the easier it will be to see us. While you can connect for music via a cell phone, if you have a tablet or a laptop/desktop computer, you'll see better.
3. a camera, either built-in to your device, or plugged in, like a web-cam.
4. a microphone, either built-in to your device, or an external mic, like a Yeti.
5. a sound output, preferably a pair of headphones
!

Then you'll need Zoom, the online meeting app.
1. Download Zoom, or find Zoom.us website
Zoom is free for users, and should be available on virtually any device that has internet capabilities. You'll need to download it on your device (or run it via the website). Go to Zoom.us or download Zoom from the App store. Older computers that can't download Zoom directly can still access meetings through the Zoom.us website.
2. Click here, and register with Zoom for Synchronous HausMusik sessions.
3. JoinThursday evenings, log on to Zoom (or go to Zoom.us), click "Join a Meeting" and put in the Meeting ID you find at the end of your online registration.
  •     NOTE: We use the same Zoom link/ID every week.
4. Once you are on, you'll be in our "Waiting Room." We'll let you in right away.

And the music. . .
On the Repertoire page, you'll find links to all the music we're playing this semester.  Print or download your own parts, in whatever format works best for you.  You can also order your own sets, and have music for future parties!
